Hogwarts is almost here!!!





What Can You do at Hogwarts?
FREE Educational & Fun Activities:
Be Aware that all the FREE activities run on a rotation, and can only accommodate a set number of people per rotation.  They will run every 15 minutes starting at 6pm and ending at 8pm, with the last one at 7:45.
The FREE activities include:
3 Authors, Physics, Astronomy, Telescopes, Potions, Wand Training & Wizard Checkers.
SHOP HOURS:
Gringotts Bank & The 3 Broomsticks
will be open from 5:30-7:30pm.
Diagon Alley Shops will open at 5:30
and remain open until 8:30pm.

** Be Sure to check out the displays in the case in the school foyer to see what will be in the shops this year!**
Put your galleons to good use.
Get all your Wizarding supplies at Diagon Alley:
Purchase your sweets and treats at Honey Duke’s sweet shop.
Get your wands at Ollivander’s.
Visit Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes jokes for fun and silly goodies.  Stop by Borgin and Burkes for your dark art specialty items.
(See the display case outside the lunchroom for prices. These shops will only accept Galleons)
You can exchange your muggle money via the Pre-Order Form below or you can exchange them at Gringotts Bank the night of.  We recommend Pre Ordering so that you get more for your Muggle Dollars and you don’t have to wait in line that night!  :)
(Exception: 3 broom sticks will only accept Meal Tickets for Meal Deals & Galleons for pumpkin juice, Pizza tickets only will also be available at Gringotts Bank)
New this Year!!
Capture your Hogwart 2013 memories in a photo booth!
Jump in and bring your friends, the photo booth will hold up to 12 people!

(10 galleons for 2 strips of photo booth pictures)

Sage Hills Staff will be dressed up as Hogwarts finest.
So find your favorite character or teacher and take a picture with them too!

Feel free to dress up as your favorite Harry Potter Character or in your Halloween costume but please no masks or weapons.
Cards will only be taken the night of SEP conferences. October 3rd and 4th There will be a table set up in the lobby. You can pay with a credit card and take your meal tickets and galleons home with you.
*** There will be a $.50 service fee for using a card****

Pre-Orders Must be sent into the school by Oct 4th. Forms received after Oct 4th will be returned.
 Forms will be accepted by the school office.  Make checks out to Sage Hills PTA.

Book Fair time is here!! :)  October 1st - 4th 
All proceeds go directly to the Sage Hills media center to help build the book collection.

I am in need of volunteers to help run the Book Fair.  You will assist students, check out purchases, and straighten books as needed.  It is best if your younger kids can stay home when you come to volunteer.  Also as a Thank You - you will receive a $5 Gift Certificate for helping at the Book Fair.

Help with vision screening!

Hello parents, we need help with our vision screening September 24th, it's a Tuesday.
The school nurse would like 17 volunteers to help starting at 9:15am.  She's confident that if she has enough helpers, she'll be done by 10::450am.

Hearing screening this Friday the 30th! We need volunteers to help!

Mrs. Young needs 3-4 helpers all day Friday to get the hearing screenings finished in one day.  Please reply in the comments if you can help. In the past the helpers have gone to classes to get the next students & kept them quiet while they waited for their turn, so if you need to bring a toddler in a stroller, that should be okay. Thanks in advance for your help!!!
